Athletic Opportunities
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with School's after-school sports program is open to all students from Grades Four through Eight, who show genuine interest and desire to play on a team or in individual events, such as track. The Fall season finds our boys and girls involved with soccer and cross country and girls in volleyball. Winter brings basketball for both girls and boys. Spring brings Co-Ed track.
Track & Field
Starting in 2024, Our Redeemer has hosted a track meet at Delavan-Darien High School. Seven parochial schools competed in 8 events such as high jump, long jump, softball throw and various relays. Our Redeemer also placed first in the meet in 2024!
Our 2022 track team won first place in the St. Matthews track meet! Students practice during school hours and after school at the newly renovated track at Delavan-Darien High School.
Basketball
Boys A & Girls A Basketball is primarily the team for 7th and 8th graders. In 2026, the Boys A finished Sixth Place in the Mustang Invitational Tournament at St. Matthew's Lutheran School in Janesville WI.
Boys B & Girls B Basketball is primarily students from 5th and 6th grade.
Volleyball
In 2022 our Girl’s A Volleyball Team went to the Lutheran School State Volleyball Championship!
Girls Basketball
In 2026, the Girls A team qualified for state in Mequon, WI.
Skiing at Grand Geneva
Students and their families can ski Monday nights in January and February at a very discounted rate. Ski lessons are also available.
Cross Country
There are typically 6 cross county meets held in the fall. Meets are held at St. Paul's Lutheran School and Blackhawk Golf Course both located in Janesville and also in Fort Atkinson. It's exciting to see our students improve their 1 mile race each meet!
