Our Redeemer has a 1:1 Chromebook program beginning in Kindergarten and going through 8th grade. Students are given a school-based Google account and use a variety of web-based learning programs. Our Redeemer and its teachers monitor student online activity through the GoGuardian web filtering/monitoring tool.

Kindergarten Chromebooks are the property of Our Redeemer and are used by the Kindergarten students. All 1st grade students receive a new Chromebook which they will use through their 4th grade year, and then take home to keep. All 5th grade students receive a new Chromebook which they will use through their 8th grade year, and then take home to keep. 

The cost of the Chromebooks and their related fees (licenses, repairs, cases, fetc.) are covered over their 4-year life at Our Redeemer and are rolled into the yearly tuition fee. By observing this 4-year cycle, students will always have a relatively new Chromebook to use that will not reach its Google-defined Auto Update Expiration during its time in use at Our Redeemer.

The Chromebooks remain onsite at and are managed by Our Redeemer until they are taken home at the end of the 4th and 8th grade years.
